TERACOM was founded in Year 2002 by engineering professionals to capitalize on the opportunities created by rapid growth of Telecom in India. It is a privately held company with its head quarters based out of NOIDA with its manufacturing facilities located in Tax Free Industrial areas of Goa and Himachal. It commenced its manufacturing of Optical Fiber Cable and Telecom Equipment at Goa Factory in January 2003 after obtaining ISO 9001 accreditation.
In a short span of three years Teracom’s revenue has grown to a INR 300 crores company in revenue terms and has established itself as most trustworthy supplier of Telecom Equipments to BSNL by executing huge orders. Today TERACOM is the largest manufacturer of CDMA Terminals in INDIA and also the single largest supplier of these terminals to BSNL. Teracom’s founders have proven track records for creating and delivering highly profitable and successful telecom businesses in India.
Realizing the benefits of outsourcing in telecom arena, TERACOM has embarked upon venturing into IT and is in the process of setting up a IT services company to deliver software services to support large business houses in India and abroad to address complex technology and business problems. With this idea, PerfTek Inc. was set up as a leading information technology consulting firm at Chicago in the central United states in 2005. It aims to deliver business driven high performance technology solutions that enable its clients to gain market advantage and reduce information technology costs. It has already started working with couple of fortune 50 client as their IT consulting firm in USA and now is in the process of setting up their offshore development facility under the Teracom banner as TERACOM INFO. Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Having a proven track record in the telecom arena, it will focus on telecom and the contemporary Internet technologies to fulfill the needs of their existing and new clients.
